Every year, we remind you that the period to play the green card lottery has started and will end on November 9, 2021.
Be careful that there is nothing to pay at this point. If you are lucky enough to win, you will have to pay the consulate fees and the fees related to your permanent visa (medical consultation ...)

Wait times have increased drastically since March 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic resulted in the closure of U.S. embassies and consulates around the world. The pandemic, the understaffing, the Afghan crisis, continue to strain the number of visas the State Department can process.
